Aurora

Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet where Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as a job or a hobby however, as a chance to improve. So she started her own compositions. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork as being her influences. She began performing her music in public when her mother said they can help other people, not gain acclaim for her work, but instead help people see around them realize their importance and the ways they impact the world. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started writing songs at the age of nine. This was not known to her family members until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. She says she just likes creating music. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
